A research project in Creativity in Arts Education

With representatives from Canada, USA, Jamaica and Norway, this project in arts education and teacher education, with particular attention to drama/theatre, is prepared and at the initial stages of collaboration among members.  By focusing on creativity, the study will address the key question of how the arts can contribute to interdisciplinary learning and social cohesion.  The arts provide a proven route to promoting creativity that is often a missing element in methods of teaching mathematics, science and other subjects in the curriculum
