Mathematics for Data Management Links

Resources from StatCan to help incorporate Canadian data in teaching the MDM4U Mathematics of Data Management, MAP4C (Mathematics Apprenticeship) and other Grade 7–12 Mathematics courses.

  1. Resources on the MDM4U Teacher Support site. Look under Resources and Assistance for specific help with using Statistics Canada resources.
  2. Sequenced StatCan lessons and data sets for building skills for teaching the MDM4U course on the
  3. StatCan Resources in the official Ontario Course Profile for MDM4U. This course profile provides 3 recommended E-STAT activities (activities 1.2, 1.3 and 5.2).

  4. Data and other resources on the Ontario Fathom CD-ROM. Location: The Statistics Canada Data folder under Fathom/Sample Documents
