The Faculty of Education is participating in the Doors Open Queen’s event on Wednesday, March 30 at 12:00. Join us to learn more about the Faculty of Education Community Outreach Centre.
Not sure how to help your child with math? Come and visit Lynda Colgan at the new Community Outreach Centre at the Faculty of Education to see what is being done to help our children be successful in school and in life. Learn ways to nurture our children's self-confidence and help them to develop an "I can do it" attitude. The purpose of the Centre is to enable the Faculty of Education to better integrate educational services with community groups and local schools, and help practitioners and researchers to better understand the barriers students face while pursuing literacy, mathematics, science and technology education. A complimentary shuttle will take you to West Campus and back - as a parent, grandparent, older sibling or caregiver, you won't want to miss this opportunity!
Doors Open Queen’s is the signature event of the Campus Community Appeal.
