  • Users may only use their individually assigned computer account, or the designated class or group accounts.
  • Users may not intrude on other’s use of electronic resources. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Users are responsible for complying with all licensing restrictions.

  • No user may copy, distribute, or modify any proprietary material without proper prior approval and authorization.

New Equipment Purchases

All computers and peripherals and electronic devices that are purchased on a Faculty budget code must be inventoried by e-Services. This includes computers and peripherals purchased through a research grant. Anyone taking equipment off campus must fill out the appropriate off campus declaration. This is in accordance with University policy.

Technical Assistance

Technical assistance will only be given to persons who request assistance through the Help Desk (Pat Deir, ext. 36722).

Please refrain from asking for assistance from the technician while he/she is in the hall or on a scheduled call. This will greatly assist in the orderly workflow of our department, guaranteeing that your problem will be dealt with at the earliest available time, and allowing the best deployment of our resources to assess your problem and resolve it in a timely manner.

Equipment Bookings

Due the high demand for our resources (labs, computers, cameras), equipment will only be given out or delivered if the proper booking form is completed using the online booking form. This will ensure that all equipment will be available on a first-come first-served basis, and will be available to those who follow the proper procedures.

  • Reservations — N.B.: No phone or drop-in reservations will be accepted; click on the Reservations link at the bottom of the page.
