Noteworthy at the Faculty of Education:

e-Learning Services supports and maintains public access computers and equipment in the following locations:

  • EducTuck Shop
  • e-Nook Kiosk; and
  • Computer Labs - room B217 and B307.
How Do I ...
  • Use the network printing services (B137C)
    Please see Printing Facility page
  • Get technical support (e.g., paper jam, paper, etc.)
    Please contact e-learning Services, room B232.
  • Log in to connect to the internet while on campus
    You can log in to the internet in one of our public access computers in the EducTuck Shop, e-Nook Computer Kiosk, or the computer lab room B217.
  • Access your email
    You can access your email only if you have a NetID and a password. Login to Web based email.
  • Book class required equipment (GPS, video cameras, etc.)
    You can only book equipment for class use through your instructor.
  • Request software (Ministry of Education licensed software. See OSAPAC software datebase search.)
    You can contact e-Learning Services Rm B232.

  • Public computers
    Computer Lab B217 – 2nd Floor Mon-Fri., 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • E-Nook Kiosk and the EducTuck Shop
    1st Floor main hallway whenever the building is open.

Teacher Candidates

Teacher candidates who have participated in the Teacher Candidate Laptop Bundle Program, and who require hardware support, may contact e-Learning Services, room B232.

Teacher candidates requiring technical support for personal equipment can call or take their computer to the Campus Computer Sales and Service Unit on Main Campus, which is located in Stauffer Library. It services many popular models of laptops, desktops, and printers.

Graduate Students

e-Learning Services provides maintenance and support for the computers and the equipment in the Grad Student Lounge.

  • Networking- Installation, Upgrade, Administration and Maintenance
  • Software- Installation, Upgrades, Customization, Training
    • Basic: Operating Systems, Browsers and WWW Plugins, Virus Protection
    • Collaboration Software (QShare)
    • Productivity (e.g. Microsoft Office Suites, Mail client)

  • Hardware- Purchasing, Facilitated Break/Fix Depot
    • Personal Productivity: - Desktop Workstation
    • Printers – including printer supplies

  • Equipment Reservations – Defense, Colloquium, and Course related; click on the Reservations link at the bottom of the page
