The Interview
Advice on interviews will be offered with an emphasis on the differences between interviewing with overseas schools and with Canadian school districts.
5 pm (highly recommended)
Teaching in Overseas Schools
A panel of administrators with extensive overseas experience will discuss the nature of overseas schools, the pros and cons of the experience, what to look for in a director and a school, etc.
7 pm (required)
Opening Session
Interview Sign-ups
Following an official welcome, last minute announcements, explanation of interview sign-up procedures, and introductions, interview schedules will be arranged for the weekend. There are no guarantees regarding the number of interviews per person or the arrangement of an interview with a specific school.

Interviews
Take place both days between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm, scheduled by mutual agreement on Friday evening.
School Presentations
Including PowerPoint, DVDs, or videos, and question periods, will be scheduled throughout Saturday and possibly into Sunday morning.
A Display Area
Revenue Canada and Trowbridge chartered accountants will be available to discuss financial implications. The International Educator www.tieonline.com will explain their services, both print and electronic.
Planning Ahead
The TORF can be an intense weekend with long hours. Past registrants have found it beneficial to designate part or all of Friday as a travel and preparation day.
