Founded originally in 1907 and re-opened in 1965, the Faculty of Education at Queen's University has graduated more than 23,000 teachers and education professionals who are now working around the world.

As a graduate of the Faculty of Education I encourage you to continue your relationship with us and consider it your professional home.  You are welcome to visit the Faculty or attend one of our alumni events. Our annual Alumni Dinner, held on Homecoming Weekend every fall is a wonderful opportunity to return and re-connect with friends and faculty.  You may also be interested in considering a role on the Education Alumni Steering Committee, a group of active alumni that organizes a variety of education alumni events.

Please contact Bob Snell if you would like to attend one of our events or participate in the Education Alumni Steering Committee.

Sincerely,

Rosa Bruno-Jofré, Ph.D.

Professor and Dean

Mary Balanchuk and Janice Deakin at the 2006 Education Homecoming Dinner

Ms. Mary Balanchuk, Professor Emerita, and Dr. Janice Deakin, 2006 Queen’s Education Alumni Outstanding Service Award recipient at the Education Homecoming Dinner.

Annually we present the Education Outstanding Service Award at our Homecoming Dinner to recognize significant contributions to the education profession.

Each year we also hear of alumni who have been recognized by their peers, professional associations or employers for outstanding work.

We want to hear from you too, so let us know your good news.

All Queen's alumni are encouraged to register with the Online Community which allows you to re-connect and find housemates, classmates and friends. It also provides users with a permanent Queen's e-mail address.
