Founded originally in 1907 and re-opened in 1965, the Faculty of Education at Queen's University has graduated more than 23,000 teachers and education professionals who are now working around the world.
Graduates of the Faculty of Education, I encourage you to continue your relationship with us and consider the Faculty your professional home. You are welcome to visit us and attend alumni events. Our annual Alumni Dinner is a wonderful opportunity to return and re-connect with old friends and to meet new ones. You may also be interested in considering a role on the Education Alumni Steering Committee, a group of active alumni that organizes a variety of education alumni events.
Please contact Carole Morrison if you would like to attend one of our events or participate in the Education Alumni Steering Committee.

Queen's Education LetterThis thematic bi-annual letter is one of our means to engage the community of educators and the public-at-large in a discussion of current educational issues by making accessible the ideas and research of prominent scholars on compelling topics.
Thank you alumni and friends for considering a donatation to the Faculty of Education. Our current priorities are: 1) Teaching Excellence, 2) Infrastructure, Equipment, Technology and Resources, and 3) Community Development Initiatives. To learn more about our priorities or how to make a gift visit:
Ms. Mary Balanchuk, Professor Emerita, and Dr. Janice Deakin, 2006 Queen’s Education Alumni Outstanding Service Award recipient at the Education Homecoming Dinner.
Annually we present the Education Outstanding Service Award at our Homecoming Dinner to recognize significant contributions to the education profession.
Each year we also hear of alumni who have been recognized by their peers, professional associations or employers for outstanding work.
We want to hear from you too, so let us know your good news.
All Queen's alumni are encouraged to register with the Online Community which allows you to re-connect and find housemates, classmates and friends. It also provides users with a permanent Queen's e-mail address.
You can also contact Carole Morrison to ensure you receive Faculty of Education updates.
