Supplemental Documents
Aboriginal Teacher Education (ATE)
Artist in Community Education (ACE)
Outdoor and Experiential Education (OEE)
Applicants for ATE (Q20, Q25), ACE (Q30, Q35) and OEE (Q40, Q45) program tracks must apply to the corresponding regular program option if they wish to be considered. For example, applicants for ACE Intermediate/Senior (Q35) program track must also apply if they wish to be considered for the regular Intermediate/Senior program option (Q15), if they are not offered admission into ACE.
Concurrent Education candidates are eligible to apply to the program tracks in the year immediately preceding their final BEd year, for entry in the final BEd year. The deadline for submitting program track supplemental documents is the same as Consecutive Education program track applicants: 10 December 2008. If you are interested in applying late, please contact the Education Registrar's Office at 613-533-6205 or education.registrar@queensu.ca.
Concurrent Education candidates do not apply through OUAC for the program track, but rather they submit supplemental materials directly to the Education Registrar's Office. Concurrent Education candidates will use their Queen's student number in place of the OUAC application number on all supplemental materials.

ACE Supplemental Documents
1. Current Arts Résumé
Your arts résumé should focus on your education, experiences and interests in the arts (i.e. in visual arts, music, drama, or creative writing, as applicable to your BEd application).

Your letter should provide a brief overview of your artistic activities as they relate to your strong commitment to education and your commitment to artistic practice in one or more of the arts, with particular emphasis on work completed outside artistic requirements of your program of study.

The artistic portfolio allows the ACE review team to consider each candidate’s professional arts activity. There is no specified format for the portfolio. The background and expertise of individual candidates are unique, and applicants are encouraged to include material that demonstrates, illustrates and/or documents the details of their artistic and arts-related practice. Your portfolio might include any of: performance recordings, both musical and theatrical, fine art examples of paintings, prints, sculptures, etc., program brochures, recital or show announcements, education, curriculum or arts management materials and projects you have worked on, or any other materials that will help us to acquire a sense of your arts activity.
